Twitter Becomes Part Of The Web

Twitter has announced that it’s “@anywhere” technology will allow websites to embed it’s services into their own webpages. I am not sure how this will be beneficial to a lot of sites but I am sure that some social sites, will soon be grabbing the code.

It will allow you for example to follow the editor of the Daily Express from the main papers site or even tweet about something on YouTube without having to leave the site. I expect the bigger boys will want to use this as it means you stay on their site longer and gives them more time to push adverts in your face which is great for their revenue stream.

I think all in all, it’s a good idea and could really increase the interactiveness of sites of different ilks!
It may also mean that companies like us get less and less IT Support calls, which is always good news!
